Week 8: Spicy, creamy parsnip & apple soup, and the Edventure Phil Orchestra

Last week (w/c 12th Nov) we geared up to our biggest assignment yet: Frome Independence Day. A resilient local economy is key for the future of young adults in Frome, and by promoting and cooking local, seasonal food for 200 people we wanted to support it. Harry and Camilla project managed & facilitated the assignment. Read their reflections here.

Our Monday contributor was Jenny Thomas, the co-founder of Unicorn Camps and resident in Frome. The focus was event and project management. After the Independents Day Assignment we had plenty of questions, and consequently, what we learned from Jenny was set within the context of our experience.

After just a short weekend break, we got together again for our next assignment: A performance at the Hub Club, a charity fundraiser on Saturday night.
