Future Shed helps launch and grow green and healthy projects and enterprises by building networks, connecting like-minded individuals, and offering free training, coaching, and resources to turn ideas into action.
By supporting these initiatives, we create opportunities for more people to join free, inclusive community-led groups that foster friendships and support a sustainable, affordable and healthy way of living.
Future Shed is all about community-led action on health and climate here in our home town of Frome, and we focus on the life essentials that bring us together: food and seeds, clothing and fabric, rivers and water, wellbeing, play, and art.
Future Shed is run by Edventure as part of the Green & Healthy Frome partnership programme with Frome Medical Practice and Frome Town Council, funded by the National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund.
What happens at Future Shed?
- We host meet ups and learning sessions, gathering around our themes, usually on a Friday morning, at Edventure’s Hub.
- We support networks of action and groups creating public activities and events, enabling community-led action connecting climate and health
- We offer free coaching and support to individuals and organisations in fundraising, community building, organisational development and we connect and network people together
