Edventure team update
With sadness and gratitude, we’re sharing the news that Lisa Haines, our wonderful Operations Lead, has decided to explore life beyond Edventure. Lisa’s last day will be 26 June.
We are incredibly grateful for all of Lisa’s contributions. She was instrumental in helping navigate Edventure through and beyond the pandemic, supporting the Kickstart cohort, and we have benefited hugely from her deep commitment to community engagement, and her watchful eye in keeping Edventure running smoothly. We will miss her friendly and steady presence, design talents and her awesome baking!
In Lisa’s own words, “I have really enjoyed my time working beside so many enthusiastic, talented, caring and community-minded colleagues, both past and present. During the past 6 years I’ve developed many new skills, embraced new experiences and events, and have fond memories to take away with me. I am grateful for all the support the Edventure team has given me, along with support from the chairs of the board – Neil, Mel and Esther and the directors. I’ve offered and progressed as much as I can in my current role, and I’m ready to take some time to reconnect with my creative interests and seek new opportunities. I will miss everyone when I leave and you’ll definitely see me at some of Edventure’s events in the future!”
Please do join us in wishing Lisa all the very best for the next step on her journey, wherever it leads. She will always be a much-loved part of Edventure’s story.
Moving forward, we’re delighted that James Wallis will be taking up a new full-time role as Edventure General Manager and Communications Lead. Please feel free to contact him at james@edventurefrome.org. We congratulate and wish James well in this new role!
Warmly,
The Team at Edventure Frome.
