Building a supportive community, team and network around your start-up idea is key to its success. It involves developing clarity of vision & values that give people a reason to get involved and devising ways to engage with your stakeholders, partners and potential customers. Inquiring into why you or your group want to be doing this in the first place and what each individual can gain or learn from being involved is also an important foundation for building community.
You will leave with a practical plan on how you can build a strong, supportive community around your start-up idea.
The workshop is for people who would like to work with others to realise a community-focused business start-up/project or realise initiatives within existing organisations. It will also provide useful tools and approaches for group leaders and facilitators who want to work with teams to set up community enterprises or projects, or who want to explore replicating edventure in their town.
