Play is for both children and adults, and the opportunities for play is what helps make our town a great place to live. Play can build connections and community, improve health & wellbeing and is good for the planet too.

Frome Town Council has developed a new play strategy for Frome to encourage more local play. We are running this training for individuals and groups who want to develop play ventures in Frome & Somerset – may that be community events, activity or sports enterprises or groups who regularly meet to play.

The workshop combines the expertise from people who have set up play ventures, people who have experience of incubating start-ups, and from yourself. Everyone makes the day, and as participants, you will be invited to contribute your own experiences and ideas. Bring your ideas or challenges if you want to get some input or feedback from the group.

Contributors to be confirmed.

The day is run by Edventure Frome, with support from Frome Town Council, Somerset County Council and Somerset Skills and Learning. Attendees can also benefit from 1-to-1 following coaching and advice.

This event is free & funded for residents of the county of Somerset – there is a £5.00 booking fee. Please click here to read the essential booking information.
