A welcoming, practical space for people aged 18-35(ish) to connect and create.
Learn the basics of visible mending. Thursdays 6-9pm. Free.

Come along to our weekly workshop space to connect and create. Every week, we’ll have a new project on the go that you can join in with.

This week we’ll be focusing on visible mending – why and when to use the techniques, reasons for doing so (for you & the environment!) but most importantly – giving you some guidance and practice on beginner techniques for simple, everyday repairs. No experience at all is necessary, we’ll be on hend to help and advise you – please also come if you have some experience in this area that you would like to share with others! We love it when that happens at Make:Shed!

You’re also welcome to make use of our store of tools and materials to work on your own project or have a rummage and get inspired to start something new. Our team are on hand for guidance and to give you a warm welcome. And our urn is on for tea!

Make:Shed is a weekly creative workshop space for young adults aged 18-35(ish) from Frome and the surrounding area. See all upcoming sessions here or follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates.

You can book a ticket via eventbrite, or alternatively contact us via FB messenger or on 07434 667 373.

This is an open MAKE:Shed Session. We also have monthly tutor-led MAKE: Shed sessions, funded by Somerset Skills and Learning with everything from Pottery to Woodwork. They are free for Somerset residents – we’ll just need you to complete a few forms for our funders. Check them out at:

Tutor: Cassie Morris & Amala Hermon

Cassie is the Programmes Lead for Make:Shed. She is passionate about re-using/reimagining and upcycling items that could otherwise be heading for landfill and reducing waste more generally, making instead of buying, as well as bringing people together to inspire creativity, share skills, build confidence and improve wellbeing.
