Edventure Start-Up Launch

Tues 3 Nov 2020. 6-8pm. At The Welsh Mill Hub

Our Edventure Start-Up Course brings together a team of young adults to start-up a real community enterprise in 10 weeks. Please join us to celebrate it’s launch!

This evening is designed and hosted by our students to showcase the new community enterprise. You can expect simple, delicious food; a presentation detailing the project and the team’s experiences over their Start-Up journey; as well as potentially entertainment and practical activities to highlight the new initiative.

(More details will be available nearer the time – the student team will be designing both the enterprise and the launch. You are more than welcome to join us for Edventure Soup  share your ideas / experience /resources to help shape the project).

A Community Bike Workshop for Frome

Getting Local People on 2 Wheels More Often
Bike Shed Frome

Edventure’s 14th team of Start-Up students have spent 9 weeks creating a community bike workshop for Frome. Somewhere for local people to learn/share skills, to repair, maintain and refurb bikes.

Come along and hear about the programmes/services the student team have put together to get more people in Frome on two wheels more often, bring people together, support people to upskill, cut carbon emissions, save land-fill waste and create meaningful employment opportunities.
