Get-Togethers of Making & Mending

Sun 10 Jan 2021. 3-5pm. At Remakery: Frome
SHARE – A Library of Things, Frome Town Council & Remakery: Frome invite you to our get-togethers of making and mending!
We’re saving money and saving things from landfill whilst sharing skills (and cake).
So far, we have inspected over 200 items, weighing nearly 400kg and saving over £9000 if these broken items had to be replaced new.

Book Free Ticket

Bring along your broken items:

our volunteer fixers will help you get them back in good shape if they can. It’s free, (but donations are welcome).

Thank you so much ! Felix (aged 8) absolutely loved it. AND, while he was busy cutting, stitching, printing and making, I got to help fix my coffee machine. We would have come along ages ago if we knew it was so family-friendly!

Thank you for the inspiration! I have now set up my sewing machine and repaired a further two pairs of jeans using the skills I learnt at the repair cafe.

Thank you to our generous volunteer repairers who give generously of their time and their skills. If you can give a couple of hours of your time a month and would be happy to join our team of menders, please get in touch.

We’d like to keep our event free, relying on donations to help it continue. If you’re able to offer help in any way at all, please get in touch or donate using the link below, many thanks!
