Thanks for booking a tour of The Edventure Hub. We’re looking forward to meeting you and showing you around.
The Hub is a place to get out of the house, focus on your work, and be surrounded by a friendly community while you do it.
People join us for all sorts of reasons. Some are looking for a change of scene from working at home, somewhere quiet to concentrate, or space for meetings and calls, or simply the chance to work alongside other friendly local people rather than alone.
Whatever brings you here, we’d love to show you around and help you see whether the Hub could be the right place for you.

Where to find us:
You’ll find us at The Edventure Hub, The Welsh Mill, Park Hill Drive, Frome BA11 2LE.
We are open from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on weekdays.
Look for our blue door, just to the left of a garage door. The sign above it reads “welsh mill:hub”. We often prop the door open when it is warm. Come through, turn left immediately, and head up the stairs.

Parking
There is a shared gravel car park at the rear of the building, just beyond the Hub. You can also park on the street directly outside.
If you are cycling, you are welcome to lock up at our bicycle stands.
When you arrive
When you arrive, James, our Hub Manager, will be there to say hello.

Your tour
During your tour, James will show you around, explain how the Hub works, and answer any questions you have.
If you’d like to stay afterwards, you’re very welcome to settle in for a free trial day and experience the Hub for yourself. Bring your laptop, choose a desk, make a drink, and see what it feels like to work here.
If you’re planning to stay for your free trial day, it’s worth bringing headphones if you have them. They’re handy for focused work, listening to music, or joining online calls.
What is the appeal?
People come to the Hub often because they want to:
- Work somewhere that helps them focus
- Get out the house / local cafes and work somewhere tailored for great work
- Meet other friendly local people
- Use meeting rooms/ take Zoom calls with fast WiFi
Working independently or remotely doesn’t have to mean working alone!
Our weekly tea and cake social happens every Wednesday at 2pm. You’re very welcome to come along, have a chat and get a feel for what being part of the Hub community is like.

Frequently asked questions
What are your opening hours, and do you offer 24/7 access?
We are open 9 to 5.30 on weekdays for coworking.
Dedicated desk members get their own key and 24/7 access.
You can also book any of our meeting rooms as space for your workshop or event at any time – get in touch about this.
Can I take calls in the coworking space?
Yes, you’re welcome to take calls from the coworking space. We just ask that you keep your voice at a considerate level and use headphones where possible.
For longer, louder, more involved or more private calls, please use one of our meeting rooms or the Edspace video booth.
What is the usual noise level? Is it quiet?
It varies from a bit of friendly chat to focused, quiet work. We welcome conversation and collaboration in the main space, as long as the noise stays at a considerate level.
It’s not a silent workspace, so we recommend bringing headphones if you want to fully focus.
For larger meetings or louder conversations, please use one of our meeting rooms.
Do you have parking?
Yes, there is a gravel car park just along from the Hub, and there is usually street parking well.
Is there bike parking?
Yes. We have four bike racks outside and a large gate you can lock your bike to.
Can I bring my children?
Our space is set up as a quiet, adult coworking environment, so we’re not able to host children during the typical working day (unless part of an agreed event). This helps keep things calm and focused for everyone.
Young people aged 16 and over are welcome as guests when accompanied by an adult.
We’re not able to accommodate groups of young people without prior agreement.
Can I bring my dog?
Not usually. Guide dogs are always welcome.
Is there space to have lunch or take breaks?
Yes. We have a shared kitchen and a lunch area you are welcome to use.
Can I bring guests?
Yes. For business meetings, you can book a room. For a quick chat or collaboration session, you can bring a colleague into the coworking space. Regular visitors should have their own membership.
Can I easily upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my membership?
Yes. You can move between tiers or cancel without a long-term contract. Fixed desk members need to give 30 days notice. All other members only need to give 5 days before the next payment cycle.
If you run out of hours, you can top up to the next tier with a one-off card payment. You can then choose to stay on that tier or move back down for the next cycle.
Do you offer discounts?
We keep our prices significantly lower than many other shared workspaces because, as a non-profit, we want to make the space accessible to as many people as possible. We’re particularly interested in supporting people who are starting businesses, exploring new ideas, or working on projects that benefit the community.
If cost is a barrier for you right now, we may be able to offer a small discount.

We are also looking to start a small pay it forward scheme in the future so we can give hours away to those just starting out.
Can I receive mail and parcels and use the Hub as my business address?
Yes. If you have a 35-hour membership or above and your business is registered with Companies House, you can use us as your business mailbox address. We will give you your own pigeonhole on request. Please check in with us first as we may have to do a few checks.
Is the building accessible?
Regrettably, the building is not very accessible. The Hub is reached by two short flights of stairs, around 12 steps in total. There is no lift due to the age and layout of the building. We are sorry that this creates a barrier.
