From participant to leader, Samantha’s journey with Edventure Frome has come full circle. Initially drawn to Edventure’s unique approach to social innovation, she’s now Co-Executive Director and a dedicated Board Member, driving impactful community change.

But Sam’s work doesn’t stop at Edventure Frome. She’s also the founder of Prosper Frome, advocating for a community banking hub committed to financial inclusion and empowering local entrepreneurs. Her passion for social enterprise shines through Cultivating Community CIC, where she uses therapeutic horticulture and nature-based activities to combat loneliness and isolation, bringing people together at Broadway Community Gardens and Victoria Park Community Café.

With a Ph.D. in Organisational Behaviour and over 20 years of international experience, Sam is a performance measurement and evaluation consultant who helps nonprofits and social enterprises prove their impact and secure the funding they need to thrive. A whizz at grant writing and strategic planning, she’s helped countless initiatives turn vision into reality.

Away from spreadsheets and strategic meetings, you’ll find Sam happiest with her hands in the soil, nurturing growth in the garden. Her commitment to community, sustainability, and social change is at the heart of everything she does.
