Future Shed Fridays – A welcoming, weekly space to help bring green and healthy initiatives to fruition.

It’s the time of year we hear the bird song!

Join us for this early morning stroll with their joyful song – to ‘be’ and to listen, and we will finish with coffee, tea and toast…

Meeting altogether at Welshmill hub, we’ll head out to the Packsaddle Fields to listen to the birds, taking an early spring wander whilst focusing on our wellbeing – being present with ourselves, each other and with nature, with times for chat and for quiet listening.

We’d rather people didn’t bring their dogs, as they can put the birds off singing if they’re running about.

Come to the Edventure Hub for a prompt 6am start – we will gather there and then set off. Please dress for the weather! We will listen / wander for an hour or so before ending back at Edventure with hot drinks, toast and fruit.

We welcome anyone who wants to connect around wellbeing and climate, including health and wellbeing practitioners and facilitators – anyone interested in how we can work together to address the health of ourselves and our planet.

Kerry-Ann Peachey, a wellbeing practitioner based in Frome, is co-hosting this meet up with Future Shed.

We are a growing network of 40+ practitioners, wellbeing facilitators, health professionals and community connectors. You don’t need any specific skills, only the desire to grow a healthier greener community.

Future Shed is part of Green & Healthy Frome, a partnership programme of Edventure Frome, Frome Medical Practice and Frome Town Council taking action on health and climate funded by the National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund.

Future Shed is part of Edventure Frome.

Future Shed is about ideas and connections, collectives and enterprise – we are cooking up ideas and ventures to make real change around climate and wellbeing. This is a space to meet up, connect and build relationships to effect change. Come with your own idea, or join someone else’s. It doesn’t matter what stage you’re at, whether you’re already in the thick of a venture or just toying with an idea, or you’re passionate about making a difference but not sure where to start? Everyone’s welcome.

Further support from Future Shed on offer:
