🏆 Huge congratulations to our Community Fridge Coordinator Terri Pitts, who recently won the BBC Make A Difference Green Award in September, and a Commendation from the Mayor this October!
& Terri’s challenge
The community fridge has saved an average of 6612kg of surplus food each month from April to August 🥦🥖
A big well done to Loop: Frome who was Highly Commended for the Green Award
We challenged Terri, our volunteer community fridge coordinator, to eat out only of the Community Fridge for an entire week

The Community Fridge & Larder in Frome reduces food waste by making surplus food from local businesses accessible to everyone in our community, run by a fantastic team of volunteers. Did you know the fridge originated with our 4th Edventure Start-Up student team in 2014?
